We only collect information that you choose to provide to us directly through this website. Specifically:

• Application form: when you apply to enroll in our Spanish lessons, we collect your name, email address, contact details, course preferences, travel dates, and any other information you submit on the application.
• Contact form and email: if you write to us at info@mexicospanish.com or via WhatsApp, we keep the message and your contact information so we can reply.
• Homestay preferences: if you request a homestay, we collect details such as allergies, dietary restrictions, and personal preferences needed to arrange your stay.
• Guestbook: if you submit a testimonial, we publish the name and message you provide. The guestbook is intended for testimonials only.
• Payments: deposits and tuition payments are processed by PayPal. We do not collect or store your credit card or bank account information. PayPal handles your payment data under its own privacy policy.
• Analytics and site usage: we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. Google Analytics may set cookies and collect information such as your IP address, browser, device type, pages visited, and time spent on the site.

We use the information you provide to:

• Process your application and reserve your spot in class.
• Communicate with you about your enrollment, schedule, payments, and any questions you send us.
• Coordinate housing arrangements, including sharing relevant preferences with your homestay host when applicable (see below).
• Display testimonials you submit to the guestbook.
• Improve our website and understand which pages and programs are most useful to prospective students.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We keep your information internal to the school, with two exceptions:

• Homestay hosts: if you request a homestay, we share the details necessary for the host to receive you, such as your name, arrival date, and any allergies or preferences you have told us about.
• Service providers: payment processing is handled by PayPal, and website analytics are handled by Google Analytics. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.

Our website uses Google Analytics, which relies on cookies to measure how visitors use the site. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by disabling cookies in your browser settings.

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to remove a testimonial you previously submitted. To make a request, write to us at info@mexicospanish.com.

We keep your information only as long as we need it to operate the school and meet our legal obligations. We take reasonable precautions to protect your information, but no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Our program does not enroll students under 13. Students between 13 and 18 may enroll only when accompanied by an adult, who is responsible for providing any required information on their behalf.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. Continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Any dispute arising from it shall be submitted to the competent courts of San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico.
